just cause they had one in the commercial doesnt mean they painted it.
but anyway if you do do it, remove the decals, emblems.
remove all the chrome.. bumpers mirrors
remove the front and rear lights
the door handles
scuff the car down with a scotchbrite pad completely.
get some nice 1500 grit wet sandpaper and wetsand the car down before it goes in the shop. thats providing it has decent paint on it now
