Mine burst about 4 years ago, was only in hospital for about a week, but apparently i almost died, i was only 14 so i guess i was young enough to recover quickly. My intestine got infected so i had to have some of that removed as well, they thought i was gonna have to have one of those shit bags which you screw into your side, but i didnt in the end
