I say it looks just as good as more than half the shit out there. Surfers want the fucking content anyway. Only thing I would change is the header logo and the content area headers. Maybe make them a little flashier and make the bookmark links stand out a little more. Don't believe the hype. You don't need some super design to make sales. Keep your content fresh and get some traffic to it and you'll do fine.

(P.S. I am a designer in this biz and I could have tried to make a quick buck off you but I didn't. This was all ofcourse just my opinion and should be treated as such. If you want to go out and spend a few hundred on a tgp design, go right ahead)
