Discuss what? That the media sensationalizes things? Of course they do. Does that mean that the threat of a global flu epidemic doesn't exist? No.
Sure, America and other rich countries would have a vaccine in a couple months. It's the poor countries that would loose thousands/millions. The risk of such an epidemic is just as bad in undeveloped countries now as it was in the 60's.
Look at the countries that were sent the virus. How quickly do you think American vaccines would make it to Lebanon?
