Oh that's one of many databases! Very useful and alarming to say the least.
I've worked for YEARS fighting child abuse and have friends and family who work in the field big time professionally. You would SCREAM if you read some of these case files and what people do to their kids and what they actually let others do to their kids.
It is incredible how stupid and cruel some parents, older kids and strangers can be.
Friend of mine, a forensic psychologist working for NY State had me stop by her office one day. She was literally overwhelmed with cases to the point she couldn't take it anymore. I was talking with her then met some of the families and literally went berserk. Took 4 cops and 3 civilians to keep me from rolling across town to kick this one kid's father's ass. Did over $2,500 worth of damage to the office tryin' to get to that fuck.
Word to the wise. NEVER let your kids out of your site. You can't trust ANYONE with your kids not even your spouse! There are many, many levels as to why people abuse kids as well as one another. Sometimes it's just a 'loose noodle' or something as sinister as a long well planned assault.
If you had to go out and kick all the child abuser asses in the U.S. you would wear out both knee caps before you put a dent in the numbers.
NEVER trust your kids with ANYONE.
