Please spanking your kid is NOT child abuse. Sometimes you don't have much choice. Let's face when we wer kids an we fucked up and we were told "Do that again and you'll get time out" I would have laughed my ass off. Ooooh time out. And actually the threat of an ass beating is often sufficiant to get the behavior you want. Of course I assume if you have never spanked your kid and your kid know you are against that then it really wouldn't be much of threat.
