I think that something to keep in mind is how the male brain works.

1) We often want what we cant' easily have.
2) We do and say things if no one knows who we are

With that in mind sometimes it's the more risque niches that will do well for you as they could meet both of these criteria.

But as others have said and will say, go with your heart. If you do what you love the money will come. Competition may make entry into a category more involved, but sure enough if people are competing for it, there's always room for someone new to muscle their way to the top.
