It's the only way some of these people can survive in business. You know that when you see some big name endorsing a service like some of the outsourcers that the 'name' is getting something special in return - either that or they're outright paying for the sig and the 'name' has never used the service.
But you just have to laugh it off - people eventually realise what's going on and it brings down the 'name' and the garbage they have been supporting/recommending.
Still there are always dumb newbies for them all to feed off.
