Most sponsors can cancel you for sending hits from a cgi -- so that means if you use a cgi outstats they have a good reason to delete your ass ;) Good way to protect themselves from shave-detection...
Anyhow good sponsors will give you permission to use a cgi redirect -- but I'd advise asking first. CGI traffic in stats logs looks kindof suspicious you have to admit...
