It sounds like it could be a problem with the "ulna nerve" (commonly known as the funny bone when you hit your elbow). Have you hit your elbow recently? I had that problem back in '79 and the nerve had attached itself to the bone in my elbow. They had to do surgery to detach the nerve and relocate it so it wasn't as vulnerable. It never hurts to have it checked out as soon as possible, however, I think if it were a stroke it would not just be one of the nerves affected, and the whole hand/arm would be giving you a lot of trouble.
