Tom is a good guy, myspace has sponsored a couple music events here in the SF Bay Area that I handled marketing for, so on new years eve we got a chance to grab a drink together and chat.
A few months ago the minimum starting ammount to advertise on myspace was $15,000 and he was pulling in 20+ advertisers a month, so he obviousally did something right.
Not to mention as soon as we walk out into the crowd, espically near the myspace booth he has dozens of people wanting photos with him, hes like a real internet celebrity
