You feel that your reputation was tarnished by being banned because of the contest. As I understand it, according to the rules of the contest, Rick does not owe you anything. He has offered a goodwill payment. Yet, you won't accept "dirty money" as compensation. So, let the money do someone some good by allowing Rick to make a donation at your direction (if his offer is still on the table).
