What Alien can't seem to get through his tinfoil covered, hard as a rock noggin', is that you don't post ICQ logs on message boards -- it's just plain rude; nor do you start shit every time you don't like someone over something that they didn't control.
Lensman put a stop to the contest, Rick wasn't under any obligation to pay him anything.
His claims of Rick having a chance to be the golden boy, or come out shining, or whatever, by succumbing to his blackmail tricks in the very ICQ logs he posted, just don't hold water. Especially when Rick offered him a life raft after he turned into a man overboard.
