Rick you stood up to the plate and made an incredible offer to settle this. However like it was said many times you are dealing with someone who has no common sense. Any reasonable person would accept your offer and move on with business. In fact any reasonable person would have just moved on with business as usual anyways because the thread was closed and dropped off the first page ... both clear violations of the rules you posted.
I believe AlienQ is alienating himself over this. Maybe he's to busy and doesn't need more work. I don't know what the story is.
This board though thrives on drama. Without it there would probably only be 3 posts a day. Maybe in his little circle his freinds are looking up to him for taking you on. I don't know. Just saying whats coming to mind here.
I say he refused your offer. You made an attempt. Let it drop and go on without it bothering you. He seems to think just because you have more business than him you don't have feelings. This thread proved to everybody you do and that you tried to do the right thing.
Who knows maybe you could have loaned him the money to bring his business to the next level and helped him out. I've seen you do that for others. If it were me I wouldn't give that a thought anymore.
