My mom died in February, 2000.
I got laid off from AltaVista in May, 2000.
And each "ending" left me with a demi-lump of cash.
I never expected it would be THREE YEARS before I made decent money again.
So Lauren and I blew through it (on rent, food, denial, etc.) in about 4 months.
My little "Egyptian Adventure" alone was about $15,000.
Ah, hindsight.
