Heres an example
Do a search on google for
"owned by fr4ud3"
then do a search for
"0wned by fr4ud3"
Thats why one might ask exactly what the message left on a defaced site is.And any other letters, etc
Not only might it show the group responsible , but many times it will show you the software that is vulnerable simply by cross referencing the hack with other sites also hacked using the same software
