While studying at NYU, I worked a number of different jobs that afforded me great perspective over a number of industries.
One such was being a ticket agent for the Eastern Airlines Shuttle at Laguardia.
Because the flights were so short (just about 1 hour each to DC and Boston), I got to see thousands of people every day (literally, myself, helped directly by me).
I met and spoke with many celebrities, like Kris Krostofferson, Robert Deniro, Mike Tyson, Donald Trump, Frank Gorshin (the Riddler), Chris Walken (amazing man, from QUEENS, like me!), Lou Reed, Maya Angelou, and many others.
Just one of those examples of how ANY vocational situation can be full of life-riches, if you pay attention.
I always pay ATTENTION.
