I wish I didn't have to endure all that work just to get that background! My point is, backdrops look like backdrops. Location, location, location!!! But not too many content providers can afford exotic locations or endure the effort required to shoot there. In my not so humble opinion, painting your studio, house, backdrop (fake walls) will change the shot enough for most viewers. Going the extra mile will work for the more jaded, seasoned, or sophisticated audience. But then again, using top notch never before seen great talent helps too.
