The bank wire for $4K could have actually been sent like SplitInfinity is saying - the receiving bank should have received it the same day (this past Friday 4/1), but not necessarily, especially if the DomBuyers bank is in another country, which appears to be the case.

Several things can delay a bank wire from being received:

1. Routing and/or bank accout number wrong. Scary, since bank wires can't be reversed once complete, but often such errors are caught before that happens; often causes delay.

2. Intermediary bank(s) involved; if so I bet a cutoff time was missed along the way and thus likely the earliest that $4K wire would come through would be Monday.

3. DomBuyer's bank received the bank wire, but hasn't posted it yet to DomBuyer's account - many banks batch wire transfers for both outgoing and incoming ... if one is anxious to know, prior to posting, whether a wire came through, they need to contact their bank and have someone manually check.

I've done numerous wires and while they're fast, one should assume delays, especially if doing cross-border wires - even more so when done on a Friday.

Finally, I agree with some others here - SplitInfinity, regardless of who is right/wrong/etc, should pay DomBuyer the $10K asap to resolve the issue - allowing this to continue will hurt SplitInfinity far more; much damage already done - many who read this thread will be leery of dealing with a webhosting company that appears, and I emphasize appears to some readers of this thread, to have cashflow problems.
