Take a 5 day jungle tour with a private guide in Chiang Mai/Burma, no one takes that tour, you will so no tourists at all. You go to villages where they havent see tourists within a year or so, you will experience the true thai feeling. I booked that tour at Greenwood travel, if you need a office go to

Good prices too, i suggest you to take the night train this will safe you a whole day of your vacation ( if you take the morning train you will arive at midnight )
Seriously, if you do not like tourist, do that trip. If you are going anytime soon be sure to take your rain coat and look out for leechs !!
