Thats what the clerk in Best Buy told me earlier today when i asked her why all albums and DVDs have so many fucking security tags on them.

I mean seriously, you buy a new CD, it has shrink wrap over the sleeve, the jewel case is wrapped in plastic, then you have to remove 2 or 3 of those security tags from the edge of the jewel case after you remove the cellophane.

Im beginning to think she was right, what other reason can there be for wasting so much plastic on a $13 cd or dvd?
