The courts are the last thing that the GOP doesn't/can't control. They're the only "checks and balances" the neo-cons have left. I fear that they were trying to use this Schiavo case as an excuse to start marginalizing the courts and grab even tighter control over the American people. The only thing I can say is THANK GOD the people aren't stupid enough to let it happen.
