I just got an email spam from a car rental company in Ankara, Turkey.
Let's think about this for a second...
The number of people that actually read a spam email is already low
The number of people that actually click through to view the website for the spam offering is even lower
The number of people that both click through AND buy something is even lower than that
But they're not even selling an impulse item like viagra, fake rolex, or porn, they're spamming a car rental company in Ankara, Turkey of all places.
The number of people that would get that spam AND be needing a car rental in Ankara, Turkey must be amazingly small. But wait! It gets even better! Assuming you actually do need a rental car in Ankara, the website is not in english.
www.ankararentacar.com
So unless you speak Turkish and happen to need a rental car in Ankara, Turkey, this entire spam effort is a big waste of time. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
