Homophobic - Fear of Homosexuals
Pedophobic - Fear of Children
Pedophilia - love of children. But in this case we are talking about a socially un-acceptable desires. IE: The sexual abuse of children.
You can not be pedophobic (And fear children) and a pedophile (desiring children) at the same time.
Back to Homophibia equating to Homosexuality. Those that fear homosexuals and devote time to attacking them are considered to be latent homosexuals because the normal person does not devote time or energy worrying about what goes on in other people's sex lives.
