This may hold true, ONCE. But if you are a person who plays on a regular basis skill has everything to do with it. Sure I can lose a random hand here and there to a complete mute or get bounced from a tourney. But over the long haul I will win more than i lose based on skill against weaker players. There is a reason that people can play poker for a living. They have the skill to do so. And for every pro people see on the Television, there are 1000 guys making a living at the 2/4 - 10/20 tables picking up a few hundred dollars a day. They have the ability to do that because of the thought that "Poker is a game of luck". It's like anything else, if you work and educate yourself you will get better at it.
