its not hard to mail cell phones it depends on the region
up here in canada. you have to send to the proper carrier
i think for telus its txt.telus.com or msg.telus.com
for each carrier it has its own then of course the phone number in front. you could also fake the header where its coming from. i use to have all the list for all the cariers. i could probably code something up for all the carriers in the states/canada. i was doing something like that for a security site.
then you would just have to find which exchanges cell phones are on. i know the canadian cell exchanges.not sure if you can get a hold of the american. sounds like a cool project tho.
