As I expected the press release was fine (although verbose - a common occurance in overt marketing pieces).
The problem I had was with the program:

b) Each member must also refer five friends to become a member of Freeplaystations.com. The referrals will also be required to complete on offer. You are able to refer members to Freeplaystations.com by using your supplied referral link, found in the members area. Each account created by under your referral will be tracked in order to give you credit for the referrals you make.
