Why gay guys need their own lockerrooms at the gym...

I walked into the lockerroom last night after a workout. As most guys do, I proceeded to shower, walk back to my locker in a towel and change. I started feeling some eyes on me and sure enough, there were 2 guys looking in my direction while they were changing. I decided to turn around and finish getting dressed. I was uncomfortable, but being an ex-athlete, I know that things like this are not uncommon. A couple minutes later I heard another guy walk in and a couple voices say "Mmmm... I'd love to see the package on him!". I decided not to turn around at this point, but I heard a loud thud, and a head smack on a bench.

At this point I turned around to see one of the guys knocked out in a pool of blood. The other gay guy looked stunned as the angry guy just walked away, went back to his locker and changed.

I'm not a gay hater, and I'm sure the guy got in some legal trouble, but I felt a bit violated myself, so I can only imagine what that guy felt like. Sure they were in there getting ready to work out, but they could have kept their eyes and their comments to themselves. It's a lockerroom, not a strip club.

If a gay guy is allowed in a mens lockerroom, why aren't straight guys allowed in the womens lockerroom? Same principle, right? I feel bad for those involved, but it did get me thinking about this question...
