your parents will always be your parents...true.
but after you turn 18, unless its legally documented somewhere, your parents are no longer your guardians and no longer responsible for you or your actions.
like i said before in another thread. tony and i have discussed what we would do in similar situations and we drafted up living wills and medical powers of attorney, but i've NEVER told my parents about how I feel about that stuff. There are tons of other things I choose not to share with my parents. So don't necessarliy think that just because they are her parents, that she shared anything and everything going on in her life with them.
