It is an individuals duty to plan and prepare. If you do not and something like this comes up you are personally turning over yourself to your partner in the contact you entered into when you got maried.

Only sad thing I find with this whole mess, is the complete waste of tax payers resources handling what should of been something as easy as a signature by the husband.
