Gas prices have been cheap cheap for years..
Most bottled water costs roughly the same price and its 1000 times easier to get.
Gas must be trucked out of the ground as oil , shipped thousands of miles to then go through a costly refining process , and then be shipped thousands of miles again to the gas pumps.
I bet if i went into the ghetto of any big city and offered $10 to carry 5 gallons of gas across town , i wouldnt get anyone to do it.
Conclusion , gas is hard to get , we should be lucky that the west has been able to artificially deflate prices for as long as they have been.
You could always run your car on hemp oil ( its cheap and easy to produce and is a renewable resource )
