thanks. i caught that - but the answers weren't very complete.
It's nice when somebody offers up their time to respond to questions from a large group of people. and it's rather insane to try to answer them.
But if you open yourself up... you should try to give decent answers.
He said he was going to talk about model recruitment. I happen to own dormangels so I've done a little bit of it....but it's always cool to share some lessons and tips/tricks.
So I wanted to get a feel for how he does his model recruitment... word of mouth, ads, online scouting, etc.... asked for his %'s ... i was going to do a follow up ... once he told us all how he tends to find his models. and the answers were ...
% that you approach on the street. (100% of the ones interested)
% that respond to ads (he doesn't really advertise)
% that you solicit online/email (whenever i have time)
% that email you from your sites (a bunch, no real numbers)
those responses really didn't answer the questions asked... nor did they help anybody in figuring out what is a good use of time and a bad use of time for model recruiting... cept maybe you could infer that he doesn't like the results of print ads
