I used to drive freeways all the time, but I know a guy that died on the freeway and my friend told me all the gruesome details , and ever since that happened I've been terrified of going on the freeway  I only drive inside streets now

No matter where you live you don't need to take the freeway, so you just gave a major cop out!
You can take 2 different streets most of the way from anywhere in OC!
