Exactly, we all know how Bush will vote, which implies support for this. So if the paper ever reaches his desk, then this whole thing is as much Bush's fault as it is Congress. In fact, Bush took the red eye out to D.C. from Crawford so that he could sign the bill as quickly as possible if it passed.
Republicans are doing anything they can do circumvent the decision of the Supreme Court. The Florida court decided that Terri's tube should be pulled. The Supreme Court upheld that decision by rejecting an appeal by Terri's parents.
