I usually have my hair down to my ass (or longer) and each summer I get about a foot chopped off (leaving it to where the bra strap fastens) and have it layered. About a month ago, I decided to chop off about 8" even though its still winter. THAT was a HUGE adjustment, its still just below the bra clasp, layered, etc. BUT OMFG I can't imagine being bald. I love my hair toooo much.
As a matter of fact, about 1.5 yrs ago, I met this guy who was totally in love with me. BUT he was balding, so he shaved off his hair. At first, I thought I'd see if I could get past it, but really I wasn't attracted to him. He was Polish, and had THICK course black furry hair all over his arms, legs, shoulders, chest, and NO HAIR on top. It was slightly superficial, yes, but add the fact that he cried after sex and told me he wanted to marry me and have babies with me after the first sexual encounter and it was enough to toss him into the "NO FUCING WAY!" section.
So... then I met this guy who was in the Army and he had a full head of hair (within a few months of dumping ape-man) and he decided to shave it all off. At first I was like, omg he's bald, this is why I dumped Jeremy and now I'm with a bald guy who's horrible at sex, what have I done! But since then, I seem to ONLY date guys who shave their heads. Its like they either are losing their hair or shave it all off and I don't give a shit. I'm not sure when I grew up, but somewhere over the past year it happened. Maybe its just that when you're only with someone for appearance sake & sex, you emphasize on exterior perfection, but when you value someone as a person the shell doesn't really matter anymore. Who knows... I wouldnt want to have no hair, but as long as my partner is comfortable with himself and his appearance, then its a-ok with me!
