He started his career as a call in to a local radio station in Orlando. I remember seeing him at one of the local hooters when he was doing promotions for the radio station, he was the announcer for a bikini contest.
Amazing how fast someone can go from a nobody to a public personality.
Same thing happened with Billy Lane the custom bike builder, that guy's first bike shop was in a warehouse a few units down from mine. He used to drive a old Chevy truck painted in black primer.. Then next thing you know he's all over the discovery channel on bike shows.
