The people who claim to be experts on raising children are usually the ones who have screaming kids in grocery stores, throwing tantrums when they don't get what they want. I grew up in the 80s, and I don't ever remember witnessing things like that while at the store with my parents or nanny. These days, you can't go to a store without seeing at least one out of control child acting like a spoiled brat. It's ridiculous. I'm not a parent, and I know parenting isn't easy... but it's also not rocket science. All these skrinks and "experts" keep overanalyzing something that's really not as complicated as society makes it these days.
I feel sorry for the child in this story. She's just another product of poor parenting. Children don't suddenly become like that one day. That's a practiced behavior.
