I'll have to agree - there is no rehabilitating them - the only way to prevent them from doing it again is to castrate them but the courts for some reason don't want to do it even if it's voluntary.

Castration often has no effect on child abusers unfortunately. It's often as much a power thing for them as sexual and many are likely to re-abuse even if castrated.
