Nope, its still a good time. I started one on monday for the lesbian niche and its already getting a steady 5k uniques a day. The key is content and that it actually gives your surfers something to appreciate or think about. Some people stress over daily "updates" but 3 or 4 updates a week is still good if your content is great. Don't try to stuff it with useless things just so you can have an update every day.
