My stepfather walked out of our life when I was 14 years old, he had raised me since I was 4 because my natural father was in prison. He was always my coach in Football, and Baseball every single year for 10 years! He was also a very strict person and was never afraid to lay down a good ass wippin when needed, for this I hated him and wished that he would leave. Well one day it came true, I was 14, my sister (his natural daughter) was 4, my mother and him had always had problems because of there drinking and they finally parted.

My sister found him 3 months ago and just flew into New Orleans with her right now, He called me and the first thing he said was " I miss you son and I wish you were here"! I lost it and don't know how I should feel?

Has this happend to anyone here? I mean anything similiar?
