Good point you raised there re jurisdiction. While the federal government does have jurisdiction over all wire/cable/phone communications throughout the US due to the Commerce Clause of the Constitution, it is an open question whether this jurisdiction extends to the Internet.
Once described as "everywhere and nowhere at the same time" the Internet and exercising jurisdiction over it is going to be a landmine for adult webmasters -- specially if courts buy Thomas' "local standards for national distribution" analysis.
And we're not even talking about the COPA yet....
