I just was in Vegas this week for a mainstream biz show and here is my list to keep your game tight.
1. "floor" Time management - Set appointments, meetings and face to face chat time.
2. Naps - after working the floor and crusing the show, break back in the afternoon for a nap.
3. Eat - Dont just live on booze and coffee. Good meals do a wonder at a show for you
4. Sleep - Set aside a few hours dedicated for sleeping. Anyone's that been to Vegas for a show can attest that you can really stay up for 3 days there no problem, lol...
5. Space - Set some time to just hang in your room, catch up on emails and make the calls that you need to make, Review your days' notes, plan for the next day and the like.
Having a plan for the day and objectives to reach will make the most of your time there and having space for downtime makes the uptime that much more productive to see a return on the investment spent.
Have a good show and take lots of cards.
