Interesting.....that is actually what "stoning" referred to in the ancient middle east. When the Bible refers to it also. They didn't throw rocks at the person until they died, they would dig a hole, put the person into it, and VERY VERY slowly lower a huge slab onto them.
There are plenty of murderers/rapists/child molesters that deserve that
