He set's folks up, he increases your business, and it gives em incentive to find new business. No different than commissions that a salesman would get. Some people just might like em and would prefer to see that he gets compensated on trades.

The traffic manager might be bought into making decisions based on his pocket book rather than the business account. The business might make more money if he directed the traffic towards another account. The idea of the traffic manager is to make the most money for the business that he can rather than himself. That's why he is paid.
