Yes, that's what it is, I don't agree with it and I never said my government was perfect, believe me. All governments use propaganda. However, if they started airing fake news stories on CBC that come from Chretien's PR people, he would have been held over the coals. That kind of thing only flies in the former USSR, and apparently, the new USSR.
"Karen Ryan reporting", that would have lost Jean Chretien his position in a week.
Look what happened when the people found out he gave a couple million bucks from that to his pals, his party lost their majority and he's being grilled about it over a year after he left.
