I just spoke with my son.
The server is online but he wants to install Perl so that CGI script can be used and FTP capable. It is a Microsoft IIS 5.0 server with Windows 2000 operating system (I thought it was UNIX but was mistaken). It has Microsoft Front Page Extentions.
Before anyone starts critisizing the server and operating system this server is not going to be used for adult sites. It is more of a personal server.
