These islands do not sink They know exactly what they are doing, tested this for quite some time to figure out how to do it best. Man-made islands are used all over the place nowadays to do things.

Thats why I keep saying Dubai is not really special, it just makes it bigger and more exclusive, thats all.

Hong Kong's new Airport is built on a man-made island. As is one of Hong Kong's biggest and newest skyscrapers.

Oh, and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai is also on a man-made island.
