And as to Lar's comment on role playing being boos. That is some funny shit! 5 experience points to you!
The real world thing I did walk away from D&D with was the ability to creativly problem solve, which is essentially what the entire game is about. That's a huge skill in any business operations level. The vocab from the game wasn't too bad either. Too bad it didn't help my spelling at all...
