Always a good idea to try to find a good DOT com and post the name on a heavy visited webmaster board before actually registering it.
Everyone here knows how to register a DOT com and most of the people now how to reg it for <$8. Just saying that I hope that when the perfect name comes along you gonna beat every other webmaster regging it.
