At the time during WWII the first nuclear weapons were just a larger bomb. During WWII, the US and England firebombed entire cities off of the map, doing much more damage in the process. At the time, it was common for both sides to wipe out entire cities. Germany, for example, blindly launched rockets into London - and didn't give a damn what they hit.

Oh, let Iran have it's nukes. Let them blow one up in NYC, Washing DC, Vegas..... And watch the US turn every fucking Muslim country into a huge glass parking lot. I'd bet my life that if a nuke ever went off on US soil, the US will fire nukes into any country that may or may not have nukes that we aren't friendly with.
